Description

COOKFOX Architects is a mission-based studio dedicated to integrated, environmentally responsive design. Inspired by concepts such as biophilia and biomimicry, we are pursuing architecture that restores and regenerates. We believe that the best design emerges from the collective work of a diverse community of designers. We maintain a studio environment that encourages collaboration, learning and open communication across all experience levels and roles on project teams.

We are seeking a creative Junior Architect with strong design skills and 2-4 years professional experience. The position will require a working knowledge of Revit, excellent graphic presentation skills, strong communication skills and an ability to work independently. Candidates should be interested in environmental sustainability and social equity and inclusion.

Candidate qualifications:
– 2-4 years professional experience
– Professional degree in Architecture, Bachelor’s and above
– Ability to work collaboratively in a rigorous environment
– Excellent conceptual design skills
– Strong communication skills: graphic, written and verbal
– Knowledge of building codes, standards, and structures
– Well organized with ability to prioritize tasks and work independently when needed
– A strong working knowledge of Revit and Adobe Suite required; proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3DMax a plus
