Salary & Benefits: The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 annually. Salary may be impacted by candidates years of experience, specific market sector experience, licensure and/or potential involvement in business development. Full-time individuals in this role are eligible to participate in our benefit programs which include bonuses, profit sharing, 401k contributions, paid holidays, paid time off, continuing education, paid licensure & professional memberships as well as medical, dental, vision, FSA including Medical and Dependent Care, life and short/long term disability programs. Description

The Human Resource Manager works closely with leadership to ensure HR programs and services are in place to support and drive key business strategies and objectives. In this role, responsibilities will include employee relations, professional development, recruiting, onboarding, performance management systems, policy implementation, equity programs, compensation and benefits management, and employment law compliance. Leadership will look to you to offer creative solutions while taking responsibility for a broad range of human resource initiatives and programs. The role requires a perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization, is a proactive problem solver and is sensitive to employee goodwill and the firm’s needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Provide leadership and expertise for the following Human Resource (HR) functions: employee relations, compensation, employee engagement practices, training, leadership development and coaching, organizational change and communications Performs administrative functions within the human resources department.
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating business objectives into HR initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Coach business leaders on issues such as effective team building and workforce development to ensure long-term firm success.
• Oversee recruitment efforts, including postings, career fairs, university partnerships, internship programs, and talent pipeline development.
• Manage hiring processes, including interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
• Lead onboarding programs to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and reinforce firm culture.
• Manage compensation and benefits programs, including plan selection, open enrollment, and vendor relationships.
• Advise and facilitate people management, career development and training. Develop and implement programs which foster employee engagement and professional development
• Provide counsel in the design and implementation of compensation and recognition programs, employment offers and negotiations.
• Provide guidance to leadership and employees on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
• Manage employee relations issues, work with consultants and/or legal counsel as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HR-related policies and legislation (e.g., EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and oversee employee visa processes as needed.
• Measure and monitor key HR performance indicators with focus on improving retention, KPI’s and other metrics as appropriate
• Conduct annual reviews of organizational design, assist with compensation audits and make recommendations
• Facilitate communications throughout the organization including employee surveys
• Coordinate office programs such as Biometric screening, vaccination clinic and WELL certification compliance
• Assist with maintaining SharePoint intranet employee website

CLIENT INTERFACE:
• Develops a positive relationship of trust with our vendors and fosters a commitment to external and internal customer service.
• May communicate with vendors regarding invoicing, payments, and other financial information as needed.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCY:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 10+ years of experience in Human Resources
• SHRM certification a plus.
• Passion for people operations and workplace culture initiatives
• Experience organizing, leading, and implementing HR Programs & initiatives
• Problem solver and resourceful thinker
• Ability to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
