Role Overview: The Interior Designer III should be competent in a wide variety of interior design-process tasks in all phases of design documentation – from conceptual design through construction administration. They will be responsible for collaborating with architect and client teams and for the coordination of interior design details and technical documentation with the architect and other consultants.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team on multiple projects and project types.
• Involvement in entire interior design project process – from programming, concept design, design development, construction documents and construction administration
• Prioritizes, delegates, and coordinates work assignments within the Interior Design project team
• Helps to manage project budgets and schedules
• Works independently or with design team to complete a variety of projects with fast-paced schedules
• Works directly with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other team members
• Helps to oversee the design for the project and to maintain the project’s overall design direction
• Develops and delivers budgets, selections, specifications and the staging of furnishings, art and accessories
• Develops and delivers 3D models and renderings in Revit/Enscape
• Develops client presentation materials – graphics, images, renderings, and material palettes
• Produces complete, accurate and coordinated construction documents
• Researches and coordinates materials and products for project specifications
• Produces a full set of furniture specifications
• Implements all local, state and federal applicable building codes, constructability and standards of practice
• Presents to clients with the interior design team
• Helps to mentor staff

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design
• NCIDQ-certified preferred
• Minimum 5-9 years of interior design experience in commercial architecture and construction field
• Strong understanding and knowledge of commercial design
• Strong collaborator with ability to have solid working relationships with clients and project teams
• High level of conceptual creativity, innovative thinking and problem-solving
• Ability to provide efficient and elegant design solutions
• Strong graphic and presentation skills with experience in a variety of software platforms such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu or other 3D-modeling related programs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in MS Office, Bluebeam Revu or other related programs
• Developing leadership skills with a collaborative spirit
• Good listener who appreciates receiving and giving feedback
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
• Highly motivated, well organized, strong time-management and prioritization skills
