Assoc. AIA — This is for YOU (too)!

By Mary-Margaret Zindren, AIA Executive Vice President

Curiosity. Interest in changing context. Desire to know what’s next. Openness to learning new skills and better methods.

This Minnesota architecture community is made up of lifelong learners. This attribute is not limited to licensed architects who are required to keep up their CEs; it is as true for Assoc. AIA members as it is for AIAs.

Assoc. AIA members: please save the dates of November 13-16, 2018 on your calendars. This is when the AIA Minnesota Conference on Architecture will be held, and if you’ve never attended or if it’s been awhile, we encourage you to think seriously about attending this year.

From inspiring keynote speakers and skill-development workshops to the latest thinking and application of architectural concepts, we are developing Conference sessions with the whole architecture community in mind. We’ll also have seasoned member ambassadors on hand to help you navigate the Conference and get the most out of your experience.

This year we’ll have a special Assoc. AIA member registration rate and we’re adding more content to our evening sessions, too. Our aims are to ensure that every member of AIA Minnesota feels welcomed and included in the Conference experience, and for firm leaders to support Assoc. AIA members’ interest in attending.

So, think about it: if you’re someone who loves to learn (you are!) and someone who wants to connect with others in Minnesota’s architecture community (you do!), save the dates and begin the conversations necessary to join us. We’d love to see you there!
