Topic: Uniqueness of different home
After completing the activities, can you answer the following questions? Let us know.- The most up-to-date home design in Minnesota
- How do architects design for the clients’ preference?
- How does the design respond to the neighborhood?
Architects try their best not only to put hosts’ dreams all-in-one, but also to make sure the house functions well by itself and in the context of the neighborhood. How do architects design different homes for different owners? How does a house respond to the context, such as the windows facing neighbor’s, the sidewalk in the front, the driveway to a street, the backyard adjacent to an ally, etc.?
Let’s visit the up-to-date houses designed by Minnesotan architects through the 2020 Tour Homes. AIA Minnesota hosts Home of the Month every year. 2020 the event will be available online.
