The St. Paul Chapter of AIA Minnesota hosts several special events throughout the year to bring members together for networking. It also features several recognition programs including the St. Paul Heritage Preservation Award, the St. Paul Prize Competition, Design Charrettes, and the Unauthorized Design Event.
St. Paul Prize Competition
This year’s competition will be the design of a Outdoor Education & Community Space. This challenge is open to interns and architects within seven years of receiving an architectural degree and participation may be submitted for IDP credits. Registration opens and the competition begins on Monday, Oct. 13. First prize is $1,200. Winners will be invited to present on their design at a 2015 AIA St. Paul Food for Thought program and winning boards will be displayed at the 2014 Convention.
