The St. Paul Chapter of AIA Minnesota hosts several special events throughout the year to bring members together for networking. It also features several recognition programs including the St. Paul Heritage Preservation Award, the St. Paul Prize Competition, Design Charrettes, and the Unauthorized Design Event.
Food for Thought
AIA St. Paul organizes quarterly lunchtime meetings featuring a speaker who presents on a topic of relevance to the membership. There is no fee for AIA St. Paul members to attend, and lunch is included.
A luncheon where chapter members are updated on the past year's chapter events, financials and vote on new Board members and by-law changes. The 2016 Annual Meeting was held on Tuesday, October 25 at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Learn more.
St. Paul Prize Competition
This annual design competition is open to interns and architects within seven years of receiving an architectural degree. The 2016 winner is Ryan Fugleberg, Assoc. AIA, of Pope Architects. Learn more.
St. Paul Heritage Preservation Awards
Nominations are now being accepted for the twenty-seventh annual St. Paul Heritage Preservation Awards. To submit a project, click here. Nominations are due by 4:30 pm on Friday, March 31.
The Heritage Preservation Commission of the City of St. Paul and AIA St. Paul will formally recognize the winning projects, individuals, and organizations at a public event on Tuesday, May 23. Watch for more information about this event soon.
