The St. Paul Chapter of AIA Minnesota hosts several special events throughout the year to bring members together for networking. It also features several recognition programs including the St. Paul Heritage Preservation Award, the St. Paul Prize Competition, Design Charrettes, and the Unauthorized Design Event.
Food for Thought
AIA St. Paul organizes quarterly lunchtime meetings featuring a speaker who presents on a topic of relevance to the membership. There is no fee for AIA St. Paul members to attend, and lunch is included.
A luncheon where chapter members are updated on the past year's chapter events, financials and vote on new Board members and by-law changes.
St. Paul Prize Competition
The 2015 competition challenge was to design an infill multistory recreation center in the Lowertown district of St. Paul. This annual competition is open to interns and architects within seven years of receiving an architectural degree and participation may be submitted for IDP credits. Learn more.
St. Paul Heritage Preservation Awards
The Heritage Preservation Commission of the City of St. Paul and AIA St. Paul are co-sponsoring the twenty-sixth annual St. Paul Heritage Preservation Awards to recognize projects, individuals, and organizations that enhance and celebrate St. Paul’s cultural resources.
The 2016 awards will be presented on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, as part of a month-long celebration during National Preservation Month. Download the informational flyer for the reception.
