Using creative design examples, this seminar will review innovative ways to use brick and stone masonry to create new exciting building aesthetics. Standards and methods for upholding industry requirements for structural integrity, movement, moisture, and thermal control will also be integrated in the discussion of material systems.

About the Speaker:
Tom Elliott, Director of Industry Development and Technical Services, IMI
Tom has worked for three decades in the construction industry in project management, as well as field supervision. He is a long-standing member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 5 OH. Tom also managed his own mason contracting business, and later worked in the restoration sector of the masonry industry.
