Participants will investigate options possible within Rainscreen systems and discover solutions and techniques to implement an efficient design process with simple and/or creative effects.

Learning Objectives:
– Describe: Attendees will acquire knowledge about rainscreens – how they are manufactured, what the material qualities and limitations are and how these might affect design considerations.
– Illustrate best practice design options, details, and specifications for rainscreen systems
– Compare: Participants will explore cladding material options used in rainscreen systems, looking at standard and custom options in several materials.
– Differentiate the types of rainscreen assemblies and backup wall materials, air/moisture/vapor barriers, attachment systems and options out there.
