Auromira Architects an award-winning full service architectural firm seeks a passionate, self-motivated designer/architect to join our team. In this position, you will work on a variety of projects in a collaborative and creative work environment to serve the needs of our clients. You will be involved in all phases of the project including programming, design development, construction documentation and construction administration.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings with clients and consultants.
• Assist in the production of schematics, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
• Research building codes and participate in review meetings for code compliance.
• Create presentation drawings – Sketchup modeling and digital coloring of floor plans.
• Develop material palettes and specify interior finishes.
• Coordinate and specify interior furniture.
• Assist with field visits, site observation reports and architect supplemental instructions.
• Provide support for tasks required for the successful completion of the project.
• Manage the architectural sample library.

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.
• 3 plus years of architectural design experience.
• Proficiency in the use of Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and Sketchup.
• Indesign, Photoshop, Enscape and AutoCAD a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An understanding of architectural design principles, standards and practices, building codes, materials and furnishings.
• Works well both independently and in a team setting.
• Team player willing to learn and take on a variety of project tasks and execute them to successfully meet project deliverables and deadlines.
