From the last two activities, we learned that it is the materials and structure that made skyscraper possible. Let’s experience the beauty and power of structure. Watch an inspiring video.
Then, test out a one-foot tall single-story structure on your own.
Using some of the strategies in “Supporting materials” below, analyze the success and failure of your structure models. We will come back to the strategies later of this camp.

– Test and document if it can stand up and holds the weight of an orange by photo taking.
– Analyze the success and/or failure with the strategies in “Supporting materials” orally (1 minute) or in a written format (300 words).
Level 4

– Build two different structures in 10 minutes with handy materials.
– Test and document if they can stand up and hold the weight of an orange by photo taking.
– Analyze the success and/or failure with the strategies in “Supporting materials” orally (3 minutes) or in a written format (500 words).
