Residential Architecture Committee

An AIA Minnesota committee and chapter of the Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN)

We promote the value of residential architects and architecture.

We are a resource and voice for residential architecture, providing support, advocacy, and education. We address unique issues related to custom residential practice by providing an inclusive community for the exchange of ideas and resources. We provide continuing education opportunities for all aspects of residential architecture.

AIA members and architecture students are welcome to join us at any time during the year, as committee members or for specific events! Reach out to co-chairs or staff for more information.

Site Tours »

Our site tours give access and insight through exploration of in-progress projects. Those pursuing licensure may be able to get AXP credit if attending with their licensing supervisor. Our 2026 site tours are supported by an AIA CRAN grant.
