Specifics about Leadership Forum

Session Content

Seven sessions – approximately 50 hours – of experiential learning with professionals dedicated to teaching leadership skills and helping participants learn their strengths and how to use them.

Limited to 16 members creating an interactive experience for growth and learning from one another.

The curriculum content provides insight and tools for growth in the areas of:

  • Leadership styles
  • Values
  • Self-awareness
  • Intercultural leadership
  • Communication
  • Motivation
  • Advocacy
  • Engagement

Sessions are a combination of lectures, panel discussions, small group breakout sessions, and periods of self-reflection resulting in a better understanding of who participants are — their strengths and their leadership styles.

Participants are introduced to new tools and skills to gain a greater confidence for the roles they play in their personal relationships, project teams, firms, and community.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Candidates must be an AIA Minnesota or MSP NOMA member.
  • License is not required.
  • A minimum of 10 years industry experience is required.
Tuition

Tuition is $800. Payment plans are available.

Need-based scholarships are also available through the Minnesota Architectural Foundation’s Beverly Hauschild-Baron Leadership Fund.
