Thursday, February 24, 4-5 pm CST

This virtual event is hosted by the AIA Minnesota Healthcare Design Knowledge C0mmunity.

Healthcare design, in the architectural profession, is a growing field of specialized practice.  Rigorous in research, design experimentation and direct interaction with patients, family and staff, this sector of architecture is a fascinating combination of art, empathy, skill and intellectual challenge.  Want to learn more about it?

On February 24, from 4-5 pm, a zoom meeting will be held with Minnesota healthcare practitioners who will meet with small groups of students and emerging professionals to discuss how they work, what is so interesting about this field, employment opportunities within the field, and specialized education.  This is an informal session and we welcome students in architecture from any level who might be exploring how to make their future career into a purposeful architectural journey; as well as those already in the profession curious about this type of specialized practice.
