We advocate on behalf of the profession and on issues of the built environment.

The Government Affairs Committee is focused on state and local government advocacy on behalf of AIA Minnesota and its members. The committee monitors issues important to the profession of architecture and its practitioners, and advocates for legislation to advance stronger, more resilient communities.

AIA Members and architecture students are welcome to join us at any time during the year – as committee members or for specific advocacy opportunities! Reach out to co-chairs or staff for more information.
