Description
RAD Firm is seeking a talented and detail-oriented design production professional to support a growing portfolio of custom residential projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the intersection of thoughtful design, technical problem-solving, visualization, and construction documentation within a small, highly design-focused and collaborative studio environment.
Strong applicants may have interests spanning residential design, visualization, digital workflows, fabrication, scripting, or emerging design technology.
Current studio work includes:
• Custom new homes
• Major remodels and additions
• Modern, contemporary, and mid-century influenced design
• High-detail BIM and 3D workflows
• Visualization and VR-based client presentations
The role will initially focus on:
• Archicad production and documentation
• BIM modeling and drawing coordination
• Redlines and sheet setup
• Existing condition modeling
• Construction document development
• Visualization and presentation assistance
• General studio production tasks
Desired Qualifications:
• Archicad proficiency strongly preferred
• Residential experience preferred
• Strong modeling and drawing organization skills
• Attention to detail and graphic consistency
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
• Interest in modern residential design and construction
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with Enscape, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• 1–3 years of professional or academic experience preferred, though strong emerging candidates and recent graduates will also be considered
This is a flexible contract / part-time position to start, with the opportunity to grow into a larger role over time for the right person.
