Board Leadership Positions
The Minnesota Architectural Foundation (MAF) is seeking letters of interest for officer and board leadership positions that will begin January 1, 2023.
This is an important time in the leadership of MAF. By joining the leadership team, you will be engaged in key decisions as we continue to implement the Foundation’s strategic direction.
If you’ve thought at all recently about growing your leadership skills, expanding the circle of professionals you work with, or raising your profile in the community, getting involved with MAF is a great way to do so.
Open MAF Officer/ Board Leadership Positions for 2023
- President-Elect (three-year commitment as President-Elect, President, and Past President; AIA and Assoc. AIA members eligible)
- Treasurer (one-year term, renewable)
- Secretary (one-year term, renewable)
- Board Member, three positions open (three-year term, renewable; AIA, Assoc. AIA members, and non-members eligible)
What is the selection process?
Anyone interested in being considered for a MAF position should submit a letter of interest no later than November 15, 2022 to MAF@MinnesotaArchitecturalFoundation.org.
Following the deadline for letters of interest, the Nominating Committee will work to determine its recommended slate of candidates. The selection process may include individual interviews with the Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee will present a slate of candidates for consideration by the AIA Minnesota Board of Directors and MAF Board of Directors at their respective December meetings. Successful candidates will assume office on January 1, 2023. The Nominating Committee is comprised of the president, president-elect, immediate past president and executive director.
